For distinguishing themselves in their chosen careers, about 50 Nigerian youths have been nominated for the Young Achievers Nigeria Awards 2012.
A statement released by Elite Image Communications, organisers of the event, listed music star Tuface Idibia and Nigeria international footballer, Mikel Obi, among the nominees.
The statement read, “In the different award categories, 50 nominees for this year’s event were listed and selected by a board of top media executives and professionals.
“Young Nigerians in the Diaspora who have excelled in various fields of human endeavour will be honoured.”
The event is scheduled to take place on Oct. 14 in Lagos.
